TPC-H (1999)
卸売サプライヤーの社内データウェアハウスをモデル化した、広く用いられているベンチマークです。
データは第 3 正規形で表現されており、クエリ実行時に多数の JOIN が必要になります。
データが一様かつ互いに独立に分布しているという非現実的な前提と、ベンチマーク自体の古さにもかかわらず、TPC-H は現在も最も広く利用されている OLAP ベンチマークです。

データ生成とインポート
まず、TPC-H リポジトリを取得し、データ生成ツールをコンパイルします。

次にデータを生成します。パラメータ -s はスケール係数を指定します。例えば -s 100 の場合、テーブル'lineitem'に 6 億行のデータが生成されます。

(ClickHouse における圧縮後のサイズは system.tables.total_bytes から取得したもので、以下のテーブル定義に基づきます。)
次に、ClickHouse にテーブルを作成します。
TPC-H 仕様のルールにできるだけ忠実に従います:
- 主キーは、仕様のセクション 1.4.2.2 で言及されているカラムに対してのみ作成します。
- 置換パラメータは、仕様のセクション 2.1.x.4 にあるクエリ検証用の値に置き換えています。
- セクション 1.4.2.1 に従い、テーブル定義ではオプションの
NOT NULL制約は使用しません。dbgenがデフォルトでそれらを生成する場合でも同様です。 ClickHouse におけるSELECTクエリのパフォーマンスは、NOT NULL制約の有無によって影響を受けません。 - セクション 1.3.1 に従い、抽象的なデータ型(例:
Identifier,Variable text, size N)を実装するために、ClickHouse ネイティブのデータ型(例:Int32,String)を使用します。 これにより読みやすさが向上するだけであり、dbgenによって生成される SQL-92 のデータ型(例:INTEGER,VARCHAR(40))も ClickHouse で問題なく動作します。

クエリ
SQL 標準に従った正しい結果を得るために、join_use_nulls の設定を有効にする必要があります。
一部の TPC-H クエリは、v25.8 以降で利用可能な相関サブクエリを使用します。 これらのクエリを実行するには、少なくともこのバージョン以降の ClickHouse を使用してください。
ClickHouse バージョン 25.5、25.6、25.7 では、追加で次の設定を行う必要があります:

クエリは ./qgen -s <scaling_factor> によって生成されます。s = 100 の場合のサンプルクエリを以下に示します。
正確性
特に断りがない限り、クエリ結果は公式の結果と一致します。検証するには、スケールファクタ = 1 の TPC-H データベース(dbgen、前述)を生成し、tpch-kit における期待される結果と比較してください。
